HIGH PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT (HPD)

10-month commitment September to June

Full year Fee: $6,100

Training Schedule: 4-5 days a week

  • 10 athletes maximum (minimum 4 athletes per team)
  • 4 – 5 training days
  • Aproximately 14.25 hours training per week
  • Note: Above Training information will begin after September 29th. Trainings in Richmond from September 3rd – 29th will be at Steveston outdoor pool and will be advised prior to the season starting.
  • Note: Training days and times are subject to change due to Coach and club decision, facility scheduling such as other pool events or unforeseen circumstances.

Provincial High-Performance Development 10 – 13 years old. By invitation only and passed by Technical Director.

This program is for athletes who are ready to take the next step to build capacity and experience, towards competing nationally in the future. Provincial stream athletes in this group will train more hours than the Provincial stream teams. A 2-year commitment is expected for this program.

Provincial Stream 2024-25 events and competitions

  • Training Meet #1 – Kamloops, BC November 9 – 10, 2024
  • Training Meet #2 – Coquitlam, BC December 14 – 15, 2024
  • Training Meet #3 – Nanaimo, BC February 21 – 23, 2025
  • Provincial Qualifiers Mable Moran – Watermania Richmond, BC April 11 –13, 2025
  • Provincial Championships Jean Peters – Nanaimo, BC May 16 – 18, 2025
  • Registration fee (including free swim cap) – $170
  • Routine Meet fees – TM$55 / Comp. $68.75; if athlete participates in additional team/solo/duet, additional BCAS fees will apply); fees calculated for each training meet/competition.
  • Uniform apparel – additional cost
  • Solo or Duet program fee, Solo or Duet Music fee, Competition suits, Team suits – additional cost.
  • Team travel estimates will be forthcoming.
  • Spring Break is optional but highly encouraged. Fees will be additional.
  • Family commitment plan will be presented at the start of our season as part of the club volunteer policy.
