National Stream: High Performance

Athletes who want to pursue Artistic Swimming competition more seriously can compete in different levels of competition regionally, provincially, nationally and internationally. National stream coaches have a clear set of standards that must be met to swim at this level. Team travel is an important part at this level. These High-performance athletes will experience Canada’s highest levels of National Artistic Swimming competition, create experiences to be captured on their CV and may have the opportunity to apply to the National team selection process.

National Stream Youth (Ages 13 – 15)

10 month commitment September to June

Full year fee: $6,700

  • Number of spots available will be determined by TD and coaches (minimum 4 athletes per team)
  • 5 training days
  • Approximately 20.5 hours training per week
  • Above Training information will begin after September 29th. Trainings in Richmond from September 3rd – 29th will be at Steveston outdoor pool and will be advised prior to the season starting.
  • Note: Training days and times are subject to change due to Coach and club decision, facility scheduling such as other pool events or unforeseen circumstances.

National Stream Junior (Ages 16 – 19)/Senior

10 month commitment September to June

Full year fee: $6,500

  • Number of spots available will be determined by TD and coaches (minimum 4 athletes per team)
  • 4 training days
  • Approximately 14.5 hours training per week
  • Above Training information will begin after September 29th. Trainings in Richmond from September 3rd – 29th will be at Steveston outdoor pool and will be advised prior to the season starting.
  • Note: Training days and times are subject to change due to Coach and club decision, facility scheduling such as other pool events or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Training Meet #1 – Kamloops, BC November 9 – 10, 2024
  • Training Meet #2 – Coquitlam, BC December 14 – 15, 2024
  • Training Meet #3 – Nanaimo, BC February 21 – 23, 2025
  • Pacific Coast Provincial Qualifiers – Surrey, BC January 17 – 19, 2025
  • Pacific Peaks Provincial Championships – Nanaimo, BC February 21 – 23, 2025
  • National Qualifiers – Victoria, BC March 16 – 22, 2025
  • National Championships – TBD May 2025
  • Registration fee (including free swim cap) – $170
  • Routine Meet fees – TM$55 / Comp. $68.75; if athlete participates in additional team/solo/duet, additional BCAS fees will apply); fees calculated for each training meet/competition.
  • Uniform apparel – additional cost
  • Solo or Duet program fee, Solo or Duet Music fee, Competition suits, Team suits – additional cost.
  • Team travel estimates will be forthcoming.
  • NQ competition will take place in the first week of Spring break.
  • Family commitment plan will be presented at the start of our season as part of the club volunteer policy.
